You know, all those music, arts, imagination, and wild soul, gypsy girls are literally having the best life.

Regardless of your shape and size, boho fashion is always universally flattering.

That said, this article is dedicated to my curvy queens!

1. Go for flowery breathable fabric for the boho look

To plus size baes, comfort is everything.

To look put together on those baking hot days, paying attention to the fabrics is key.

Think chiffon, cotton, and linen that are breathable and gorgeously lightweight.

I’ve once bought a patchwork dress from Etsy and it looks AMAZING.

Sadly, it’s way too thick and I just found myself wearing it way less than my other boho dress.

If you want to save some money, keep this tip in mind!

DISCLAIMER:

The truth is, we are all perfect imperfections.

You want to learn these outfit hacks ONLY if you feel like it but are not pressured by others. Remember, we never have the need to “fix” our bodies!

You don’t have to be pretty like HER, you can be pretty like YOU.

And believe it or not, there’s still NOT ENOUGH plus-size content around Pinterest and other places on the internet …at all.

So ladies, before reading the tips, please help pin the pin below & support plus-size ladies ♥!

2. Pay attention to necklines

Many plus-size girls overlook that but necklines do make or break your boho look.

As a girl with chubby cheeks, I must say the round neck and high neck top makes my face looks even rounder.

Instead, I go for the V-neck and off-shoulder top to balance out the bulkiness for a sleek look.

Trust me, this alone make a huge difference.

3. Show a stripe of skin to contour the figure

To look boho with minimal effort, a co-ord set is a hassle-free way to go.

All you need is to throw on the co-ord set along with a nice pair of slide sandals and a straw bag and people will think you’ve truly given a thought to your style and call you fashion queen.

I know many girls think the crop top is off-limit for them, but hey, they are actually not as intimidating as you thought!

Showing a stripe of skin around the waist area can always contour our body proportion and shed off heaviness. (Especially if you are a long torso).

That said, go for the high-waist dress that covers your belly and you’re good to go!

4. Go vintage and feminine in flared pants

Want to flaunt your curves? Flared pants will create that hourglass silhouette for you.

The classic bell-bottom design just makes you look feminine with a touch of vintage vibes.

When you pair this with the flat shoes underneath, you can still look somehow taller. Amazing.

5. Wear harem pants for maximizing comfort

If you are feeling casual but still want a dash of bohemian vibes, harem pants will never fail to disappoint you.

Featuring exotic tribal patterns and vibrant hues, you just look effortlessly tasteful even in the simplest ensemble.

Truly, pair the pants with a crisp white tee as you never want to look clumsy with all the different prints.

As a girl with a food baby 24/7, harem pants just work wonders for me.

Whether wearing them to the yoga class or a big meal, they just give my belly enough room to breathe.

So yes, it’s definitely plus-size-friendly.

6. Wear boho outfits at work

Can you dress boho and professionally for work at the same time? Hell yes!

To look decent, sacrifice those playful prints and focus on the signature earthy boho colors instead.

Think brown, black, sage green, and burnt orange as the main tone.

For a failproof look, team a white dress shirt with a maxi brown pleated dress and black blazer just look like a stylish girl boss.

Together with a structured bag, it just boosts the sophistication of tenfolds.

7. Add an extra pop of fun with a boho poncho

If you want to sprinkle the boho flares into your style in a subtle way, focus on the outerwear.

I’d say a kimono jacket is such a nice choice if you prefer a billowy silhouette.

To add an extra pop of fun to your all-black ensemble, go for a bold red ethnically print poncho with the boho round sunglass and you’ll never feel anything missing from your outfit.

8. STAY EDGY AS THE BOHO GIRLS

Girls just wanna have fun and sometimes that can mean going all cool & edgy with the boho look, swap out the vibrant hues to the dark tones just add a dash of mysteriousness to your style.

To take this killer look to another level, let’s not forget to throw on a felt hat to elongate your figure from head to toe. It’s kind of whimsy and I love it!

Another quick tip, always go for the thin belt but not the thick one as that can draw eyes to the center and make us look chubbier.

❤️ 2024 Update ❤️

I’ve finally started my LTK account @hannahndreams and I just created a post dedicated to plus size baes.

The dresses that I’ve picked tick all the boxes below. (In case you want something extra forgivinggg)

  • ✅ Showcase the feminine neckline
  • ✅ The ruching details hide the belly
  • ✅ Asymmetrical hemline draws the eye upward and elongates the legs visually

I’ve also included my hidden gem – a peplum belt from Walmart. Check out my post here & please follow for more styling tips❤️!

Love you girls!!

9. Fall boho looks with boots

Seriously, what else screams autumn vibes more than a boho tunic dress and knee-high boots? They just bring out the best in each other.

For girls who want to go casual, ankle boots are equally lovely.

I’d say the clogs are such a GEM that everybody underrated. I mean, what else can look more boho than shoes with wooden soles?

This is so random… BUT

hey ladies, why not quickly do an affirmation and feel instantly better?

This new year, I’m trying not only to share fashion tips but come up with ways to instill body positivity in all women who are reading my articles – aka YOU!

Instead of just reading it, say it loud or murmur the quotes (if you are in public) to maximize the effect.

Ready? Here we go.

I love my body. She is my forever home and sanctuary.

Sassy isn’t a shape, it’s an attitude.

Work out because I love my body – not because I hate it.

I can love myself and change my body at the same time. No guilt about that.

It is completely normal to have tummy rolls. I come to realize that social media isn’t showing the reality… at all.

My happiest moments in life had nothing to do with the way my body looked.

I don’t have to be pretty like her, I can be pretty like …ME.

I AM perfect imperfection.

What are your thoughts on that? I hope that makes you feel better (as you deserved).

Please help me pass the body positivity message in your community. #womenhelpwomen

10. When in doubt, go monochrome

Last but not least, you guessed it, the monochromatic boho look.

Throwing similar shades to your body just makes your figure look united and thus, taller and slimmer visually.

Or else, you can enjoy a similar illusion by limiting the shades of the outfit to two to three. A black-and-white look is just chic and timeless.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

So here you go ladies, the 10 plus size boho outfit ideas, and please incorporate them when you get dressed next time!

As the saying goes “It’s not about what size you wear. It’s about how you wear your sizes”.
