That said, I’ve gathered my top 10 favorite feminine designer brands with some statement pieces.

Enjoy ladies!

1. ZIMMERMANN

ABOUT:

Zimmermann is an Australian Brand founded in 1991 by sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann.

Needless to say, Zimmermann is taking the fashion world by storm.

To me, they are feminine in an unapologetically bold way and I LOVE it.

With all kinds of vibrant prints and colors, this is definitely the statement piece you want to invest in for your Ibiza holidays.

Wearing their dress just screams “I’m feminine and I don’t want to do it in a subtle way!”

Well, that’s kind of empowering and I guess this is why this brand is such a huge success.

Speaking of the pricing, it’s high.

The price range is around $700 to $1600 and high chance the price will keep going up!

But luckily, they have sales (40 – 70% off depending on how popular the item is) quite often so you can always find some great deals.

Of course, the competition is high and their items sold out quickly. So please always stay tuned to all the shopping app notifications!

2. SELF PORTRAIT

ABOUT:

The self-portrait is a UK brand established in 2013 by Malaysian-born designer Han Chong in London.

Among these 10 feminine designer brands, I probably owned more self-portrait dresses than any other brand adds up and I just stop my collection.

Their price is much more affordable and again, there are sales often. The charm of this young new brand is they express femininity in a versatile, artsy way.

It changed my mind that looking womanly can’t look cool at the same time.

From knitwear to dresses to bottoms, I can tell they aren’t copied and pasted their signature lace design everywhere.

All pieces have their unique necklines, hues, and WOW factor.

Seriously, if you can only pick one piece from Self-portrait, that ribbed-knit mini dress is a must-have.

I will always pair a cute beret and Mary Jane heels to feel extra darling for the winter days!

3. NEEDLE & THREAD

ABOUT:

Needle & Thread is a London brand established in 2013 by CEO and Creative Director Hannah Coffin.

All brands here are feminine but when it comes to the dress from Needle & Thread, it’s ULTRA feminine and romantic.

Featuring all the womanly elements like lace, ribbon, sequin-embellishment, and embroidered floral all in ONE DRESS, you can tell it’s a piece of art rather than a dress alone.

Wear one of their dress and you will feel like a poised princess attending than ball event.

Most of their dresses are midi dresses so you can tell they are gravitating towards the elegant classy style.

But these days, I’m excited to see that they have some mini dresses and some cute blouses for younger audiences.

My friend said they are the ultimate failproof bridesmaid dress and I can see why!

4. MIU MIU

Miu Miu is an Italian brand founded in 1993 by Miuccia Prada.

Needless to say, Miu Miu is definitely one classic feminine brands.

Their dress is definitely not the average lace dress, rather, it’s more on the rebellious and playful side.

Real old-money ladies love wearing Miu Miu as it’s more subtle. While all of us can easily recognize a Zimmermann dress, people can’t really tell a Miu Miu dress.

So yes, it’s more exclusive to a certain extent and it looks like something Blair Waldorf would wear!

5. TED BAKER

Ted Baker is a UK brand founded by Ray Kelvin in 1988.

If you love pastel hues, floral prints, and a feminine neckline, this brand is for you.

With the price range of $180-$280, the quality of their dresses is truly amazing. I can’t explain but their sturdy fabric work wonders in sculpting my silhouette.

When I am feeling blue, a pastel blue Ted Baker dress is a real mood booster.

And of course, they are well known for their scallop skater dress. I really think every girl in her early 20s deserves one of these!

6. ALICE MCCALL

Alice McCALL is an Australian brand founded in 2004 by stylist Alice McCall.

If you are wearing an Alice Mccall dress, it just screams “Bad vibes don’t go with my outfit”.

Known for its womanly yet playful style, your mood just naturally uplifts with all the whimsical prints and one-of-a-kind silhouettes.

Their knitwear and jumpsuit are to die for and I’m sure people will ask where your outfit is from – they just effortlessly stand out!

Another best part of Alice Mccall is their website is so user-friendly.

Instead of showing the photos of the models alone, they have to video clip so we can have a better understanding of the cutting of the dresses.

Whenever I buy their dress, I don’t need to return it and that truly saves me too much time! Pretty impressive huh?

7. ALICE + OLIVIA

Alice + Olivia is a New York City-based brand founded by Stacey Bendet.

If you want to freshen up your feminine style with a dash of whimsy vibes, Alice + Olivia won’t disappoint you.

Their dresses are full of vibrant hues and prints and you can feel the youthfulness.

Unlike the average floral dress, their all-over prints are truly delicate and you can tell its quality.

Together with a wide-beam straw hat and a nice pair of romantic lace-up espadrilles, this is how you can stay casual yet high-class in a floral dress on baking hot days.

8. ACLER

Acler is an Australian brand founded in 2014 by Australian design duo Julia Ritorto & Kathryn Forth.

Can you embrace womanly vibes and minimalism at the same time? Well, Acler proves to you it’s possible!

This brand is unique in its own way – simple, sleek yet timeless, feminine in silhouette.

It reminds me of the Zimmermann dress but in a cooler, simpler way.

Check out their Nadia dress as that is really a nice piece to express femininity with absolute clarity.

I really want to buy it but it’s sold out in most sizes.

Seems many ladies love their contemporary and edgy designs! (Not a good thing to me though I still haven’t owned any of their dresses, the competition is real)

This is so random… BUT

hey ladies, why not quickly do an affirmation and feel instantly better?

This new year, I’m trying not only to share fashion tips but come up with ways to instill body positivity in all women who are reading my articles – aka YOU!

Instead of just reading it, say it loud or murmur the quotes (if you are in public) to maximize the effect.

Ready? Here we go.

I love my body. She is my forever home and sanctuary.

Sassy isn’t a shape, it’s an attitude.

Work out because I love my body – not because I hate it.

I can love myself and change my body at the same time. No guilt about that.

It is completely normal to have tummy rolls. I come to realize that social media isn’t showing the reality… at all.

My happiest moments in life had nothing to do with the way my body looked.

I don’t have to be pretty like her, I can be pretty like …ME.

I AM perfect imperfection.

What are your thoughts on that? I hope that makes you feel better (as you deserved).

Please help me pass the body positivity message in your community. #womenhelpwomen

Alright, now keep on reading!

The founder Ronny Kobo said, “The woman I design for is confident, worldly, and sexy with a fabulous sense of humor and imagination”.

That truly reflects in the design of her clothes. It’s fierce, tasteful, and figure-flattering.

One of their signature pieces is a lustrous silk-jacquard dress with a padded shoulder and sassy side split.

Well, this is certainly the dress to ensure you get all the attention!

But seriously, if you are the confident boss lady type, you will adore this brand.

10. ALAÏA

ABOUT:

Alaïa was founded by French Fashion Designer Azzedine Alaïa in 1964.

This brand is a true gem. With exceptional know-how and delicate and sculptural cuts, their knit dress is just another level.

Yes, their dress is pricey but I’d say it costs every penny. Their dresses are definitely feminine but not girly so it really serves the sophisticated ladies well.

They are not eye-catching with all sequins and ruffles but this is the dress that makes people humming “Hmm… this lady got real taste.”

While their dress is expensive, their bags are surprisingly affordable, ranging from $ 1000 – $3000.

So, ladies, I’d say get the bag first, they are such darling pieces.

11. Lilly Pulitzer (my 2024 fav!!)

If you want something feminine but in a carefree and fun way for your coming tropical vacation, well, Lilly Pulitzer is your gem.

Featuring lush florals, menageries of exotic animals, and enchanting underwater scenes, Lilly Pulitzer creates one-of-a-kind prints that you’ll never find elsewhere.

The prints are always Original & Always Hand-Painted. Obsessed.

By the way, I just created a brand new Instagram account dedicated to my fashion girlies! I am wearing the Lilly Pulitzer dress in this post below ❤️
