Okay but seriously, can we talk about how tricky it is to look cute at the zoo?
If you are reading this post, high chances you are one of those fashion babes who want the perfect pics for Instagram stories.

That being said, let’s not forget we need to survive hours of walking and unpredictable weather!
After way too many zoo trips where I’ve been in situations where I either
A) sweated to death, or B) killed my feet, I finally came up with some doable outfit ideas that are as cute as they are actually comfy and practical to wear for a one-day zoo trip.

From what fabrics actually work to which accessories might get snatched by curious monkeys, I’ll break down exactly what to wear for your upcoming zoo adventure.
Let’s make sure your next zoo day is comfy AND photo-ready!
1. When in doubt, check the forecast before visiting!
Please don’t assume it’s sunny – it’s just not worth taking the risk as you will be walking outdoors for hours!

For a sassy baddie look, rock those leopard shorts that absolutely give out the cool vibe.
The latest photo-taking trend – ask your friend to take a photo of you when you are taking a selfie!

Always bring a super lightweight umbrella with you just in case!
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #1:
Use nail polish clear coat on fraying thread ends to stop further unraveling until you can properly repair the item!
2. Get creative with necklines
Another simple but cute look: the one-shoulder top.

As a girl with chubby cheeks, I love wearing one-shoulder or off-shoulder tops as they elongate my face and make it appear smaller by comparison.
When it comes to clothing, I’d suggest lightweight, breathable layers and moisture-wicking fabrics.
I once wore a tweed top to the zoo in summer, and oh my – that was miserable.
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #2:
Prevent button-down shirts from gapping between buttons by using double-sided fashion tape <3
If you are reading this blog post till now, there’s one thing for sure…
You have good taste! <3 If you approve of some of these looks, please kindly pin or share some of these outfits so many tasteful fashion babes can come across this outfit inspo, thanks pretty! ❤️

And…it would truly mean the world to me if you stay until the very end. ❤️
3. Light shades to withstand the heat
Can we take a moment to adore this cowgirl look? Just perfect.
Another tip to fight the heat, go for light shades.

Think pastel hues and white that can effectively reflect the heat!
For hats, choose a wide-brimmed one so your eyes are well covered.
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #3:Rub clear deodorant on the inside hem of pants/skirts to prevent thigh chafing. ❤️
4. Bandana headband for the win
For the baddies out there, pay attention to accessories and keep the outfit simple.

A bandana head wrap just looks so cool.
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #4:Use rolled-up magazine pages to maintain boot shape when storing – truly work wonders imo lol
❤️For my baddies who wanna spoil themselves: ❤️

It's always so fun see from data to know what you girls prefer!
5. Aesthetic zoo fall outfit
When the days are cool, stay cute in a cozy cropped sweater and bodycon dress!

❤️Girl’s fashion hack #5:
Stretch tight shoes by wearing them with thick socks and blowing them with a hairdryer!
6. Stay cute in dungaree
Is it just me or do wearing overalls to the zoo just look so perfect?

I am now in my late 20s and I still love wearing denim overalls as they make me feel so carefree!

A tube top and overalls together just look lowkey hot.

7. Avoid dangly jewelry
This reminder is crucial if you want to take photos with the animals (especially monkeys LOLOL)

Don’t wear your expensive Van Cleef necklace – just don’t.
Also please avoid wearing long necklaces as they can be dangerous when you feed the animals.
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #7:
Whenever I feel bloated, I’ll always use a rubber band to loop through a button hole and around the button for a temporary fix to pants that are too tight!
8. Sport bra x sweatpants for a Zoo date
A comfy sports bra and sweatpants set is actually a wonderful option!

❤️ Girl’s fashion hack#8: Keep Jewelry Organized While Traveling hackThread necklaces through drinking straws to prevent tangling – simply clasp the necklace and thread the chain through a straw.
9. What shoes to wear to Zoo
For footwear, go for flat, walkable shoes.

It’s not the time to showcase your heels.
I’ve once tried wearing espadrilles wedges to Zoo, thought it’s managable at first but then feel so uncomfy after just 2 hours…
So yea, always wear flats and sneakers.
❤️Girl’s Beauty hack #9:Go for the budget-friendly retinol body cream for a mild but still noticable skin tightening effect!
❤️Affordable pick❤️Advanced Clinical Retinol Cream for firming skin$17.99It really works... Ladies you don't really need the high end skincare - don't fall for marketing <3!
