Want to look effortless in the desert and take some Instagrammable shots? Well, I’ve got you!
This July, I went to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and let me tell you – looking gorgeous in the desert is a real profession.
Seriously, the desert can be extremely hot during the day, and the temperature can easily exceed 38°C (100°F).
So, I’ve shared some specific styling tips and reminders together with my outfit recommendation – enjoy and pin some of these looks!
Depending on your goal for the photoshoot, you might choose a different color.
For me, I wanted to achieve a high-saturation shoot, so I picked this classic red dress that is as feminine as it is comfortable to wear the whole day under the sun.
The best part?
This is a 100% silk dress, meaning it’s super lightweight and breathable in the heat!
That being said, don’t forget that the temperature can change drastically from day to night, so it’s always best to bring a lightweight cardigan or poncho with you.
As for shoes, I picked sneakers since I was doing a bunch of desert activities from camel riding (my favorite!), ATV rides to super fun sandboarding!
Seriously, if you aren’t planning to do anything, it’s best to wear closed-toe shoes for extra sun coverage and to avoid getting burned.
❤️Girl’s fashion hack #1:
Use nail polish clear coat on fraying thread ends to stop further unraveling until you can properly repair the item!
Trust me, the sand can be irresistibly hot.
For the ladies who want to take some cute shots, feel free to bring a cute pair of sandals to swap.
For other items, think a classic wide-brimmed sun hat and sunglasses (with legitimate sun protection) to complete your look.
