How to do it right:
Whenever you post a photo or reel—whether it’s at a cool cafe, a scenic hiking trail, a museum, or even a popular city landmark—always tag the specific location in your post and in your Stories.
Don’t just tag the city; tap on the exact business or park name that Instagram suggests.
Why it works: Your post will then appear on that location’s public “Place Page.”
Anyone who clicks on that location tag (often people who have been there, want to go there, or are looking for recommendations in the area) will see a feed of recent public posts tagged there—including yours.
