As a round-faced girlie, I love square necklines — A LOT!
By revealing more of the chest and neck area, they elongate the neckline and make your face appear smaller by comparison.
So yeah, a square-neck top can make you look sleeker and more modern, visually speaking!
That being said, figuring out which bra to wear can be extremely tricky.
It took me quite a while of trial and error, but now I’ve gathered some really useful tricks and figured out which types of bras are most compatible with this kind of neckline.

1. Balconette Bra
If you don’t know what a balconette bra is, well, now you know!
This type of bra was literally made for all low necklines, like the tricky square neck ones.
Their straight-across cup design mirrors the horizontal line of your square neck top while providing right lift and support.
That said, if you are wearing a top with thin cotton fabric, avoid picking the lace bra as it will absolutely create some bumps!

Use nail polish clear coat on fraying thread ends to stop further unraveling until you can properly repair the item!
2. Stick-On bras for Backless Styles
And let’s be real, so many of us girlies rock bodysuits with those body-hugging square neck tops for that ultra-snatched look.
But here’s the tea—you’ve gotta pick the right design or it’s a total fashion fail.
Trust me when I say the placement of those straps is EVERYTHING.
I always go for styles where the straps sit right against the armpit so my bra stays hidden.
Avoid designs that squeeze your armpit area—nobody wants that weird bulge situation.
Plus, if the straps are positioned wrong, your bra will peek out anyway, completely defeating the purpose!

I’ve tried out all different “hiding bra strap” ways on Pinterest and so far this one below is the easiest one to implement – check this out!
While some of the styling hacks will squeeze the armpit area and make us feel painful, this one is just effortless.
All you have to do is literally cross the straps and close behind your back and turn it to a tube top.
Tried it and it work wonders!

5. Tube bra for the win
Last but not least, tube bra for basically all low-neck tops! <3
The only reminder is to make sure your tube top sits at the right height—too high and it looks awkward, too low or too small and you’re constantly tugging it up all day.

Stretch tight shoes by wearing them with thick socks and blowing them with a hairdryer!
